On-site Testing Services

Aerodyn Engineering Inc.'s (AEI's) dedication to excellence
AEI exists to serve the needs of our customers who must perform tests in the field. Often these are tests to determine the causes of field failures, acceptance tests to pass environmental or government requirements, manufacturer certification tests, case studies, diagnostics, or new technology proof tests. Usually these tests are performed in the field to be conducted under real operating conditions. It may also be that the test is too dangerous, large-scale, or otherwise impractical to conduct in-house.

AEI's flexibility to conduct these tests
AEI will go anywhere in the world to conduct a test that our customer may require. Sometimes this means traveling to remote locations and dealing with extremes of weather and environment. Many times we test at a customer-owned facility or on a military base, domestic and international.

AEI's proven success in field tests
We bring together over 20 years combined experience in field test, and a wealth of knowledge in instrumentation, signal conditioning, data acquisition and reduction, a passion for a good challenge, and a positive attitude. We are well educated, trained, and knowledgeable in the engineering and technical fields, and will communicate well with customers having either technical or non-technical backgrounds. Typical equipment we use during the course of a field test might include: strip charts, analog or digital recording devices, PC-based data monitoring or data logging systems, spectrum analyzers, high-speed video or infrared cameras, oscilloscopes, etc. We also have the experience and knowledge to isolate signals from noise and interference so the customer gets precise, clear, clean data.

AEI will perform the setup and field tests
AEI will coordinate entire tests, from securing temporary test facilities, to obtaining, shipping, and setting up all test equipment, to monitoring data during the test, and providing a comprehensive report of the results. If necessary, we can add instrumentation on-site mid-test to provide the customer with valuable, but unforeseen, data points. We perform most of our tasks on-site, which includes data reduction and test documentation. This allows the customer to make timely decisions based on results in hand before testing is complete.
